Their work lives at the intersection of meaning\, care\, and grounded action. Pascale doesn’t help organizations “do better\,” but rather do differently\, with courage\, nuance\, and humanity. \nRooted in listening and pedagogy\, they create spaces where complex questions become accessible\, where mistakes are allowed\, and where learning happens together. Their approach is both structured and deeply embodied: clear frameworks without rigidity\, and constant care for the people walking the circle\, whether they are on a personal journey or showing up as allies. \nThrough workshops\, consultations\, and transformation projects\, Pascale supports individuals and organizations in moving from inclusive gestures to real\, lasting practices of belonging. Their work invites slowing down\, naming what truly matters\, and building environments where people can recognize themselves\, contribute\, and stay. A vision of change that respects the living world\, honors individual and collective stories\, and reminds us that belonging cannot be declared. It is cultivated\, through relationship. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Wren Bruce (she/her) \n\n \n Founder \n \n \n \n Bruce GEOinsights \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n Wren Bruce (she/her) \n\n \n Founder \n \n \n \n Bruce GEOinsights \n \n \n Based in Nova Scotia\, Wren Bruce is the founder of Bruce GEOinsights [pronounced GEE-OH insights]\, a consultancy that adds business value to organizations either through geoscience consulting for the minerals industry or science communications for corporate buyers requiring advisory on climate\, energy\, and sustainability messaging. SUMMARY:Webinar Wednesday: "No\, I don't want to move to Toronto": What People Get Wrong about Entrepreneurship in Small Places
DESCRIPTION:Ivy + Dean Consulting is a company that was founded in small cities that are often overlooked: Regina and Yellowknife. As they’ve grown the business\, Jacq and Risa have both regularly been asked variations of the question: ‘When will i+d open an office in Toronto?’ These questions usually come from people who have never lived outside of a metropolitan area. Join both Jacq and Risa as they share their stories as entrepreneurs and their core business ethos of staying (and nailing it!) right here at home.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n Our Team \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Jacq Brasseur (they/them) \n\n \n CEO & Principal Consultant \n \n \n \n Ivy + Dean Consulting \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n Jacq Brasseur (they/them) \n\n \n CEO & Principal Consultant \n \n \n \n Ivy + Dean Consulting \n \n \n Originally from Yellowknife\, Jacq has over a decade of experience leading teams as a queer and non-binary professional. They co-founded what is now known as the Northern Mosaic Network\, the only 2SLGBTQ+ human service agency in the Northwest Territories\, and proudly served as the agency’s first Executive Director. In 2021\, Jacq established Ivy + Dean Consulting\, a bilingual jacq -of-all-trades consulting firm designed to empower non-profit leadership to solve the unique problems faced by organizations in the Prairies and Northern Canada. They are the Chief Executive Officer + Principal Consultant\, which allows them to wear many “hats” to serve clients and lead the team. When Jacq isn’t busy working or volunteering\, you can find them drinking too much Diet Pepsi\, playing the most recent Zelda video game\, and spending time with their family. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Risa Payant (she/her) \n\n \n Chief Operations Officer & Principal Consultant \n \n \n \n Ivy + Dean Consulting \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n Risa Payant (she/her) \n\n \n Chief Operations Officer & Principal Consultant \n \n \n \n Ivy + Dean Consulting \n \n \n Born and raised in rural Saskatchewan\, Risa is passionate about increasing capacity for oft-overlooked and misunderstood communities across Canada. In her last role before moving into the for-profit world\, Risa led Planned Parenthood Regina through a period of crisis. Risa is Ivy + Dean Consulting’s Chief Operations Officer + Principal Consultant\, a position that allows her to get nerdy about infrastructure development and building frameworks to ensure the business thrives. When she’s not working\, Risa is a travel-loving\, adventure-seeking bibliophile who finds joy in live music\, bold colours\, and the expansive prairie landscape. She lives in Regina’s Heritage neighbourhood with her wife and teenage daughters.

SUMMARY:Burnout Happens: Let's Talk About It (Neurodivergent Edition)
DESCRIPTION:Virtual Event \n\n\n\n\n\nJoin Aziz and Sawah in a workshop and discussion on navigating neurodivergent burnout. Drawing on both professional knowledge and lived neurodivergent experience\, we will explore affirming prevention strategies\, ways to slow/mitigate its progression\, and methods for navigating when you’re deep in burnout. The workshop will be a blend of psychoeducation\, practical tools/skills\, and resources\, as well as a space for open discussion and questions. Psychoeducation will highlight the impact\, the differences between ND burnout and non-ND burnout\, and early indicators; all grounded in both research and real-life insights. We aim for a relaxed and affirming space\, so feel free to bring items/objects to aid in focus\, any questions you might have\, and get comfy while we get nerdy (and real) about ND burnout. This workshop is for neurodivergent individuals seeking support in understanding and navigating burnout in a more informed and personally meaningful way\, with the validation of knowing you’re learning from people who’ve been there too. \n\n\n\n\n \n Our Team \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Aziz Mirza (he/him) \n\n \n Provisional Psychologist\, Family Counsellor\, and Professor \n \n \n \n Our Landing Place \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n Aziz Mirza (he/him) \n\n \n Provisional Psychologist\, Family Counsellor\, and Professor \n \n \n \n Our Landing Place \n \n \n u003ca title=u0022http://www.ourlandingplace.com/aziz-mirzau0022 href=u0022http://www.ourlandingplace.com/aziz-mirzau0022 target=u0022_blanku0022 rel=u0022noopeneru0022 data-outlook-id=u00228dec77ac-6b2a-41a2-99d6-49b578931c90u0022u003eAziz Mirzau003c/au003e (he/him) is a Provisional Psychologist\, Family Counsellor\, and Professor based in Calgary\, Alberta. SUMMARY:The Sales Lab: Surviving the Sales Slump
DESCRIPTION:Sales slump got you pulling your hair out? You’re not alone!  \n\n\n\nSales are slow and sometimes non-existent for every business across the board right now so rest assured\, it’s not something you’re doing wrong. That being said\, if you’re not doing something about it\, it will grow into a much bigger YOU problem than it needs to be. Yikes! \n\n\n\nJoin this hybrid rant-creative thinking session hosted by Lindsay Johnson\, aka The Radical Connector\, and let’s… \n\n\n\n\nGive ourselves the space to vent and commiserate as entrepreneur buds. It’s hard out here right now! \n\n\n\nThink creatively about what we can actually do about it so it doesn’t become a bigger problem down the road\n\n\n\nUse this opportunity to look at our businesses differently and see where we might be overdue for a pivot\, upgrade\, or shift\n\n\n\n\nBonus: We’ll send out a spreadsheet with everyone’s contact info and who y’all want to meet so you can stay in touch and explore collaboration and referral partnerships together! \n\n\n\n\n \n Our Team \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Lindsay Johnson \n\n \n The Radical Connector \n \n \n \n https://www.theradicalconnector.com/ \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n Lindsay Johnson \n\n \n The Radical Connector \n \n \n \n https://www.theradicalconnector.com/ \n \n \n u003cspan style=u0022font-weight: 400;u0022u003eLindsay Johnson\, aka The Radical Connector\, is a business coach and ethical sales trainer helping misfit entrepreneurs do business differently. SUMMARY:Webinar Wednesday: Small Business\, Big Advantage: Using IP to Create Competitive Advantage
DESCRIPTION:Intellectual property (IP) isn’t only for big corporations. Small businesses can play smart and use IP to their advantage. This session aims to make IP relatable\, practical\, and useful for entrepreneurs. \n\n\n\nJoin Felix Yuen (he/him) from Fruba IP Law on the 11th of September\, 2-3 PM ET as he takes us through IP and why it is important. \n\n\n\nWe first go through together a few questions to uncover the intangibles that make your business unique. Some of these can be turned into legal rights. We will make those rights easy to understand and clear up some common misunderstandings about IP. We’ll also look at some hot IP issues for small businesses: using AI tools\, navigating social media content\, managing open‑source software and contents\, and protecting trade secrets when working with others. We will leave plenty of time for Q&A. \n\n\n\nKey Takeaways \n\n\n\n\nEasy pointers to make sense of IP in plain language.\n\n\n\n\n\nA checklist to help identify and assess your intangibles.\n\n\n\n\n\nInsights into current IP issues: AI\, social media\, open source\, and so on.\n\n\n\n\nAn opportunity for a free follow-up consultation to discuss your IP questions. \n\n\n\n\n \n Our Team \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Felix Yuen (he/him) \n\n \n IP Lawyer u0026 Strategist \n \n \n \n Fruba IP Law u0026 Strategy \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n Felix Yuen (he/him) \n\n \n IP Lawyer u0026 Strategist \n \n \n \n Fruba IP Law u0026 Strategy \n \n \n Felix specializes in innovations\, digital media\, and information technology.
