Depending on the project\, the procurement process may begin either before or after project design has begun. \n\n\n\nMetrolinx is committed to making purchasing decisions based on best overall value using sustainable procurement practices and will consider the sustainable practices of its supply chain during the procurement process. As part of our Sustainable Procurement Policy\, Metrolinx will give first consideration to Indigenous-owned vendors\, second consideration to diverse-owned vendors and third priority to Ontario-based vendors.
