In these challenging times\, the power of storytelling has never been more vital. Stories ground us\, remind us of our resilience\, and reignite our sense of purpose when we’re drained and defeated. That spark—your vision—can be the neon sign that pulls you through the toughest times. But here’s the catch: most people don’t realize the incredible value of their own story. They rarely stop to reflect on it. That’s where we come in. Join the Precipice team for an inspiring session to begin to share your story and tap into your purpose. And here’s the best part: sharing your story doesn’t just help you—it creates meaningful connections with others\, building resilience for everyone involved. Let’s turn your story into your superpower.   \n\n\n\n\n\n \n Our Team \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Kerri Robinson\, MBA\, ACC (she/her) \n\n \n \n Facilitator \n \n \n Co-Founder & Strategic Lead\, Precipice Development \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n Kerri Robinson\, MBA\, ACC (she/her) \n\n \n \n Facilitator \n \n \n Co-Founder & Strategic Lead\, Precipice Development \n \n \n An ambitious professional with a passion for transforming systems through precision\, excellence\, and critical thinking. During this keynote\, Makaylah will also invite participants to reimagine what true inclusivity and connection look like in action. We will explore barriers that keep our work fragmented\, even within marginalized spaces. Participants will explore the nuances of intersectionality\, privilege within marginalization\, and the gaps in inclusivity that often go unnoticed. Together\, we’ll ask tough but necessary questions: “Where are we excelling in fostering inclusion\, and where are we falling short?” and “How can empathy-based leadership transform our actions and bridge divides?” \n\n\n\n\n \n Our Team \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Mak Rogers (they/them) \n\n \n Co-Founder\, Co-Owner \n \n \n \n Franki D’s Donuts (CCQC Certified Supplier)\, Scale Naturally \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n Mak Rogers (they/them) \n\n \n Co-Founder\, Co-Owner \n \n \n \n Franki D’s Donuts (CCQC Certified Supplier)\, Scale Naturally \n \n \n Makaylah Rogers is an award-winning social impact entrepreneur of 12 years\, and passionate Keynote Speaker. SUMMARY:Navigating 2SLGBTQI+ Diversity & Inclusion in the Tourism Industry
DESCRIPTION:This training is funded by the Government of Canada through the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA). \n\n\n\nThe global 2SLGBTQI+ travel market is valued at more than US$200B annually. Canadian destinations are well-positioned to grow their share of this market. But in order to be successful\, destinations and operators must ensure that 2SLGBTQI+ customers feel welcome\, accepted\, and served in a way that exceeds their expectations and accommodates their needs. \n\n\n\nTo support efforts in developing market-ready products\, CCQC’s Navigating 2SLGBTQI+ Diversity and Inclusion in the Tourism Industry helps tourism-based businesses learn about 2SLGBTQI+ inclusion and how to effectively understand\, value\, and serve 2SLGBTQI+ customers and employees. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n Our Team \n\n \n \n \n\n\n\n \n Our Team \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Tj Jones (he/they) \n\n \n \n Speaker \n \n \n Owner\, Full Picture Management \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n Tj Jones (he/they) \n\n \n \n Speaker \n \n \n Owner\, Full Picture Management \n \n \n Tj (he/they) works to support organizations in expanding their capacity to meaningfully include and serve 2SLGBTQIA+ folks. SUMMARY:Navigating 2SLGBTQI+ Diversity & Inclusion in the Tourism Industry (ACOA) October 2024

Raised in Glen Margaret on the road to Peggy’s Cove\, Nova Scotia\, she honed her leadership skills as the eldest of seven daughters. Her mother reminded her daily\, “Set an example\, you have six younger sisters.”  \nThrough hard work and strategic networking\, Dalene grew her first business working with Mary Kay Cosmetics to $5 million in annual sales\, focusing on referral-based growth. She even earned a Pink Cadillac and a total of 16 cars. When she sold her business back to Mary Kay Cosmetics nine years ago\, her total earnings exceeded $4 million. Her sales team spanned over 5\,000 people in 5 countries.  \n After selling her business\, Dalene sought a new challenge and decided to purchase a BNI Franchise with her husband. BNI is the world’s largest and most successful business referral networking organization.  \n Realizing that many people fear networking and are unsure how to build a dream team of referral partners that generates revenue\, Dalene started a new business – Networking Naturally. She is dedicated to sharing what works and what doesn’t\, as she genuinely believes that one’s network is their net worth. She aims to help others experience networking in a natural way\, allowing them to thrive in business and beyond.  \n Focusing on building genuine connections and trust within professional networks\, Dalene specializes in cultivating high-quality referral partners that ensure faster client acquisition\, longer retention\, and increased revenue. SUMMARY:Navigating 2SLGBTQI+ Diversity & Inclusion in the Tourism Industry (ACOA) August 2024
