{"id":60943,"date":"2018-11-14T20:41:52","date_gmt":"2018-11-15T01:41:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev-cglcc-multisite.pantheonsite.io\/fr\/news\/start-up-canada-day-on-the-hill-2018\/"},"modified":"2025-10-22T16:00:53","modified_gmt":"2025-10-22T20:00:53","slug":"journee-start-up-canada-sur-la-colline-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/queerchamber.ca\/fr\/news\/journee-start-up-canada-sur-la-colline-2018\/","title":{"rendered":"F\u00eate du Canada sur la Colline 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The CQCC participated in the\u00a0<strong><em>Start Up Canada Day on the Hill 2018<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0 event in Ottawa on October 18, 2018.\u00a0 This is an annual event organized by\u00a0<strong>Startup Canada<\/strong>, a grassroots network of entrepreneurs working together to build an environment for entrepreneurship in Canada.<\/p>\n<p>The event provided CQCC with a great opportunity to raise awareness and interest in the Chamber\u2019s activities and perspective. The CQCC\u2019s CEO, Darrell Schuurman, participated in a number of policy hearings and panel discussions which addressed a broad range of issues related to scale-up strategies, the government\u2019s support of Canadian entrepreneurs on the global stage, supplier diversity and the government procurement process.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the CQCC\u2019s exhibition booth attracted numerous visitors, many of whom\u00a0expressed strong appreciation and great support for the organization.<\/p>\n<p>It is estimated that over 2,000 people, including representatives from the corporate sector, entrepreneurs, government officials and business students, attended this year\u2019s Start Up Canada Day on the Hill.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Le CQCC a particip\u00e9 \u00e0 la Journ\u00e9e Start-Up Canada sur la Colline 2018 \u00e0 Ottawa le 18 octobre 2018.\u00a0 Il s\u2019agit d\u2019un \u00e9v\u00e9nement annuel organis\u00e9 par Startup Canada, un r\u00e9seau communautaire d\u2019entrepreneurs qui travaillent ensemble pour cr\u00e9er un environnement propice \u00e0 l\u2019entrepreneuriat au Canada.
