For me, inclusion isn’t a policy; it’s a practice of compassion — creating experiences that honor all people, stories, and ways of being. I am inspired to do inclusive work because it feels intrinsically like the right thing to do. As a woman, a queer person, and raising small children, I think a lot about how to make people feel safe and welcome. It goes beyond being Rainbow Registered (though I think that is important too). Especially right now in the world, it can feel really scary, so I want to do my part to make all people, especially those with intersecting identities, feel like Meeting Place Organic Farm and the family and staff who bring it to life, is someplace they can find community, welcome and acceptance.
